We Posted. They Showed Up.
CHALLENGE
Most social posts for clubs and events feel the same—informational, easy to miss, and quick to forget. For Windjammers Sailing Club, the stakes were higher. Facebook had to do the heavy lifting to promote our annual open house, build community awareness, and attract new members. As a nonprofit, there was zero ad budget, so the content had to work harder, organically.
SOLUTION
A series of social graphics built on strategy, leaned into bold visuals, clear messaging, and a strong sense of personality. Each piece was built to stand out in the scroll while still communicating key event details. From event promos to general club awareness, the content stayed fresh and engaging. I also supported outreach that secured PR placements in local papers, extending visibility beyond social.
RESULTS
It worked. The open house saw record attendance. We ran out of food, sailboat rides booked up fast, and the docks stayed busy all day. Most importantly, the momentum translated into growth, bringing in 13 new members and stronger community awareness for the club.
